Come fossi una bambola
“Come fossi una bambola”, written and directed by Martino Lo Cascio, and performed by Jennifer Din Chin, is a monologue based on “Girls of Benin City”, the brave and clear autobiography of Isoke Aikpitanyl, a Nigerian woman who has been a human trade victim and who bravely succeeded in ransoming her condition of submission. Today, moreover, Isoke created a shelter to effectively support other “slaves” forced to spend their life in the streets.
This debut has been supported by Fondazione Intervita, who’s working in Italy, Asia, Africa and Latin America in the defence of children, women, and local communities, as well as against poverty and inequality, and for a sustainable development.
Before the show and after the end Fondazione Intervita will present two projects.
Entrance is allowed until tickets are sold out. It is possible to book tickets by calling 338 4857222, or to purchase them at the theatre’s entrance door. The show is not recommended for children under the age of 16.
