AttraversaMenti is an educational experience-based path that aims at enhancing differences and building a shared path among young migrants living in Palermo. The project will involve foreign and local youngsters in a video making and a rap music workshops, both run during the week of 21st-26th May 2018. Video making workshop is held by the Italian filmmaker Giuseppe Schillaci, whilst the rap music one is run by the Italian-French songwriter Sandro Joyeux. 
Their cosmopolitan profiles will assure different points of view and reciprocity in knowledge and exchange of experiences. The main goal of AttraversaMenti project is to use these cognitive and experience-based tools in order to enhance differences and promote participants’ involvement on one hand, and encourage the overcoming of stereotypes, prejudices and discriminatory attitudes at local level on the other. The results of workshops’ activities will be the video of the song written and performed by the young participants. AttraversaMenti is a project funded by UNAR – Ufficio Nazionale Antidiscriminazioni Razziali.
In order to carry out Attraversamenti, in 2019 the leading organization – Per Esempio Onlus – has received public funds amounting to € 7.776,38.
