“Nous sommes paires” is an international project that aims to increase the level of socio-educational inclusion of primary school children at risk of marginalization and social exclusion.
The project takes place in Senegal, at the Demain Ensemble primary school in Mbour; in Palermo there will be dissemination events illustrating the results of the actions carried out. The main activities consist in the creation of artistic-creative workshops based on play and storytelling together with pupils, families and local volunteers in Senegal and the creation of effective tools to guarantee access to education for students with hearing and visual disabilities who attend the Demain Ensemble school. The laboratories will adopt the methods and tools developed by the social enterprise Giocherenda, partner of the project. “Nous sommes paires” foresees the creation of a video story about the project experience and a booklet that collects activities, methods and tools tested during the project, to be disseminated among Italian and Senegalese stakeholders.
“Nous sommes paires” is a project financed by the Otto per Mille of the Waldensian Church and will be run from February 2019 to February 2020.
