REACT

Per Esempio Onlus participates as local coordinator in the national project against educational poverty: REACT – Reti per Educare gli Adolescenti attraverso la Comunità e il Territorio. Its objective is to encourage, through the activation of a network of ten territorial centers throughout Italy, the inclusion and well-being of adolescents living in contexts at risk of marginalization, characterized by limited training and socializing opportunities.

The project involves adolescents between 11 and 17 years old living in peripheral urban areas with high social vulnerability. The staff of our center saw the participation of educators, psychologists and anthropologists who have vast experience in working with young people and an in-depth knowledge of the Borgo Vecchio area. Great attention was paid to fostering relationships with families, the school and other organizations active in the neighborhood in order to strengthen the action of the local educational community.

The close collaboration with the “Istituto Comprensivo Politeama” ensures dialogue, stimulation and constant monitoring of young adolescents to be involved in REACT activities. The project promotes recreational and scientific workshops, assisted study and individualized support paths, orientation meetings and neighborhood events.
